So, how's everyone!

I'm tired....over tired really went to bed at 10:30pm saturday woke up at 4:30pm sunday and went to bed at midnight and woke up at 6:30am today! WOOT!

Well, congrats to my big sister!!! She finished yet ANOTHER Ironman race! This time in Cozumel, Mexico! Lucky duck!

I'm heading up north yet again! This time for a day...yes a day. Although it's not all that bad! I'm most likely getting my braces off YAY me as well as spending and early christmas with my boyfriend Andrew and his family. 6 days and counting!

The weather isn't letting up. It's been cold and when I mean cold I mean almost -30 degrees C. YUCK! No body is really enjoying it!

I cut off my hair! It's now very short....and easier to handle! Woo hoo! That's all my news!

Hey everyone!

What's new with you guys out there? I'm just sitting in the big city watching Sleepy Hollow and wondering about things.

I just had auditions for Jesus Christ Superstar...and once again....epic FAIL! Either they really are trying to push me to be better or they're just being weird. I spent my time practicing and I found out tonight it was again....for nothing. I hate this!!!!

The only good thing about this weekend is I got to spend it with Katie, Andrew and Marshall!
We watched Zombieland, Good Dick and Watchmen. All weird movies! We had a night of back massages and laughter....non-intentional stoner moments, and all around fun. I miss my cuddles!!!

I can't wait to get back here and stop travelling for awhile. I can't believe that so many times we've been back and forth so many times and I can't seem to settle down for more then five months. I should hope that some day soon I can rest for a year. Well I guess, I should figure things out and get ready to leave once again back down south!

HI-HO SILVER!

I know I know! I haven't written in a while. Let's see...summer is coming to an end...What more can I say!

Colleen got a new puppy!!! His name is Magoo!!! He's adorable! I can't wait to go back to Whitehorse and start training him.

Ummm, I was in Dawson City for a week doing my AWSI course and passed. It was +35c all week and all the forest fires around made it very smokey!

I'm finally home for awhile! I've been working with my horse a lot and he's loving it! I can't wait to take him out again today!

I went out target shooting with my dad yesterday and I can say I can still hit the target!! I just need to get over to the right more!

Otherwise life is dull! It's the north.....what more can you expect! Take care everyone!

On the Road again

well the title says it all! I'm in the process of moving my stuff back home!!

It'll be really quiet now for Colleen but, in 7 months time I'll be back here on my own! Yes, I got into MAD again!

I realised that in the past 2 weeks I haven't been home for more then 2 nights. I was out with my horse for a few days..came home for 2 nights...then went back out for 2 nights came back in and slept in my bed for a night and then left again for the hot springs! I was out there for one night but still! I've been gone A LOT! Although, my night at the hot springs was quite cold, I didn't get to bed until 2am! I was all warm except my toes and at 630am I realised there was a blanket above my head!!!! Needless to say I only got maybe 3 hours of sleep until I got home! The dog kept waking me up and it didn't help that the birds never went to sleep, or the squirels for that matter.

Oh Well, my last night away from yet another home was an AWESOME one. I'm gonna miss everyone up here!!!

Well, what can I say. You remember the dog I told you about earlier? Well she was run over last saturday....it was an accident but it was horrible. I wasn't home when it happened so I don't know what or how it happened. It's been a hard two days for us all having such a quiet house. All her stuff is packed up and the house seems alot emptier. Even her best friend isn't quiet sure where she is...and he's very distressed. I think my whole point of writing this post is to say that...I've been around for 15 years...and I've lost 4 dogs, an aunt, and numerous amounts of fish...and trust me it doesn't get any easier....(well....for the fish it does...but other wise it doesn't). We need to realise that we have to move on...no matter how hard it may seem! This post goes out to all of you that have lost a loved one. I'm truly sorry!

So, I just realised that its been over 2 months since i've written in this blog. WOW!!!! What can I say. We had our Coffee house at school and I had a soap opera skit in it as well as a dance choreographed by two wonderful dancers!!! Calvin and Claire! As well we had our auditions for GREASE and have been working our butts off for opening night wednesday! YIKES!

I spent a weekend in Kelowna at the Provincial Public Speaking 4-H which was interesting! Then I've also been spending weekends with friends as well as visiting my horse who is now in whitehorse!!! I was also out visiting my baby goats at my aunts this past weekend which was fun! But I aquired a black eye while i was there...not fun. Most of my time has been eating, sleeping, and practice for shows! Sounds like my sister...eat, sleep, train, and then repeat!

Well, I'm getting a car!!!! WOOT! 96 Toyota Corolla. I'll have pictures of it up tomorrow!!!! Other then that, I've been swamped with Grease stuff and getting school work done inbetween being so tired i can bearly move each day! I'm also getting tired of sleeping rollers!!! I don't see how 50's women could do it every night.

Yes Leslie you can lecture me about the fact I'm up so late writting this. I'm yawning as it is! Maybe I'll go to sleep once this is posted! HAHA

Well, I promise once summer hits I'll be writting more. Well I'll try to write more...since I have to finish all my schooling and start more!!!

Exactly what the title says!!!!!!

Let me see....how to explain how this all happened....ok here it goes!

Well, as most of you know I'm going to school in Whitehorse, and my school is actually a program called MAD (Music, Arts, Drama)...anyway. We just finished our first show a few weeks ago and out of that show came a few backstage jokes. My current status being one of them!

Flashback-March 4, 2009 around 8:50pm:

We were backstage waiting to go on to sing a song, and after the song we were belly dancing. So, I had to bring 2 scarves out and they were really noisey so the only way to keep them quiet was to put them under my shirt. Which made me look pregnat. One of the boys in my class was near by and we had been joking around before, so I went up to him and said "Dustin, I'm sorry but...we're pregnat..." He knew it was a joke and it all goes on from there!

We told his brother Addam and he told me that we had to get married because he didn't want a bastard nephew. So we set the date for the first day back to school after spring break. Addam is the wedding planner and I'm still wondering how we're gonna get a maroon carpet into the school.....

Moving on, this whole thing is a backstage joke. Dustin and I aren't dating, he has a girlfriend. This is all for fun. It would have been better if the Variety show was the last show we do because then we could use it for a skit...but Oh well!!!!I hope that clears it all up for you guys!

We're just a couple of teens having fun.

Ok thats the story...anyway today it offically happened! We got married and then divorced! I have the official divorce papers with me....yes I'm serious OFFICIAL! and I'm gonna put up a picture or two for you all!

Tomorrow is the baptizing of our child Addam Jr. so I'll put pics of that up too!

Hope all is well where you guys are! Oh in other news I got another email back from Heartland Star GRAHAM WARDLE!!!!!!!!! I've been talking to him a bit now and I just sent him some pictures I took and he responded today telling me one of them looks like its from a movie!!! Oh happy days!

Long time coming..

Okay, So I know I said I'd write more often and Im sorry I havent.

It's been a crazy few weeks at school!!!!! I've been singing my butt off and dancing and blah blah blah!

Well I've finally got a picture of Missy for ya'll to see...hmmmm...our variety show is March 4&5 , so I hope to see some there!!! At least those who can make it...if you know you're coming for sure then let me know and I can reserve tickets for people.

Home is Where You Hang Your Hat

Well I'm all moved in now!

I can't belive that I'll be living here for the next 5 months! this is soo crazy.

So far it's all good. I went out to get some more things to decorate my room with and currently hating Wal-mart for not having Lava lamps!....I also forgot my fish tank back home.....which means no froggies......at least not until March!!!!!!! which sucks. Maybe I'll buy a little tank for them. Or get Laurel to bring it up???

Well let's see....I'm living in the basement of one of my moms' colleages. She also has a cute little dog named Missy...who I'll put picture of on here some time.

I got this awesome poster for my room and it's a poster of *dramatic drum roll* The General Lee! My favorite car of all times. So I'll get that up asap!

Can you belive it....it's only 10 after 8 and I'm tired....which is weird for me since I'm usually really nocturnal.

Thanks to my spell checker mother I found out that Northren is actually spelled Northern! UGH, can you tell I was really preoccupied when I made this blog?!

Well, I'm going to bed now....I was gonna watch a movie but I'm too tired. Hope all is well with you guys!

I'm on the road again....

Well, I'm writing this now since I know I wont have time tomorrow and I wont stay up when I get to Whitehorse at 3 AM and write!

I'll post pictures of my new home soon as well as the difference in my room size! My new one isn't even a third of my one at home.

So, I don't know what to write!!! Maybe I'll have more to say when I move to Whotehorse. I found out that basically my whole life fits into 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small duffle bags! Pretty creepy! Well I'd better go back to watching Tarzan...(yes, I am proud to say that at 14 I am still a disney nut). Hope all is well with you guys out there!

Sleeping Beauty

Well I'm writting this while watching Sleeping Beauty....and I've also got one sleeping near my feet keeping them warm. Yes, my big fat black cat.

On other hands, I'm leaving soon and I can't belive it! I know I've been saying that alot. I still have to pack but, my school is coming along!

According to my dad the fox have pretty much moved along their way to let the wolves take over. It's kind of sad really. I really miss them, they're so pretty and sleek.

You know what. I think disney princesses have it too good. I wish my life was a story book romance....but hey, who am I kidding! Maybe my life will have a story book ending, who knows.

I guess I should go and practice my speech for 4-H.

Life in the wild!

Well, let's see...nothing new! I'm moving in count them 13 days! and 3 out of those 13 days I'm writing exams!!!!!!! YUCK.

Anyway, as I said in my first post my horse is being terrorized by the local wildlife. Wildlife being 5 fox and a pack of wolves and possibly a cougar but haven't seen him around since October! All this wildlife reminds me of when I was in public school and every morning for a year there was a red fox who'd sit on the tree line and wait for the bus with me. When the bus came and I got on he'd leave and when I'd come home from school he'd be sitting there waiting for me. I never gave him a name but I thought it was really cool! In the winter no matter how cold it was he'd still sit out there with me. Although he never got enough courage to actually approach me and I was fine with that since I was so young.

Anyway, all that recalling of the past made me think that I should name these animals. I know they're a problem but still it's fun and it's a way to tell each one apart!

Like this past summer bear hunting with my dad, we came to figure out that there was a big grizzly living near by and he carried off a whole carcass without leaving a mark! So I named him Tank.

There was also a year old black bear cub who'd lost his mother that I saw and he called out like they do when they've lost someone and I was soo sad! I named him Baloo and you'd be happy to know he's doing fine!!! He was skinny this spring but after a few months he'd grown into a nice looking bear.

Another black bear we encountered was a big female with cubs. She ran through a patch of sand, yes sand and left NO tracks at all!!! So she got the name Black Bear Lightfoot.

Okay back to the other animals! We've got 2 red fox and 3 cross fox. Hopefully I'll get pictures of them but they seem to like my dad better!

Small red fox- Todd (like the fox from Fox and the hound)

Big Cross Fox- Sly
Small Cross Fox - Schizo (as in Schizophrenia because he ran into my dad literally and was all jumpy)
Last years cross fox kit- Fluffy (he looks like a fluff ball!)

Now as for the wolves.....there are too many to name! But the ones we've had around here were the Alpha female and one of her puppies!

The cougar....well....I'm not sure yet.

North of 60

Hey all,

This is my first post in this blog and I thought I'd just write something for the heck of it! Basically I started this blog because I don't get to talk to alot of you often so, now you can see whats' new in my life!

As the title states...I'm north of 60! Right now...it's warmer then it has been in a long time! Although it's still snowing like crazy! Right now I'm hustling to get ready for my big move even farther north!!!! Yahoo Whitehorse here I come! I'll be going to public school for the first time in 3 years now so we'll see how it turns out!

Other then that...winter is still the same! My horse is terrorized by the local wildlife, and my cat needs door to door service because she hates getting her paws wet!

I'll try to keep up with posting here as much as possible! Between babysitting, school, packing, and planning things for 4-H, I seem to have little time for myself! I guess it's better to face the real world before you go off and leave home then going to college or university and totally freaking out because you can't handle the stress! I hope all is well were everyone is!
